Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - CVPH

The CVPH Gastroenterology team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative and well-established specialty practice in Plattsburgh, NY.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 36 patient-facing hours
• 4 hours administrative time
• One inpatient week every third week
• Remaining time spent in outpatient clinic

What You'll Do

• Manage an outpatient panel of GI patients
• Perform inpatient GI consultations and rounding with physician support
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of GI conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Coordinate care plans, patient education, and follow-up
• Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff

What We're Looking For

Required

• NYS NP or PA license (or eligibility)
• DEA eligibility
• Ability to obtain CVPH privileges
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills

Preferred

• Gastroenterology experience
• Acute care experience

Compensation
$62.40-$98.85 per hour, based on qualifications, years of relevant advanced practice experience, and placement within the NYSNA salary structure.
