Job description:
Our nurses are a critical part of the UVM Health team. We celebrate their daily contributions and the positive impact they have on our patients and their health.
At University of Vermont Health, you will work with a diverse group of nurses, physicians, and specialty practitioners who personally care about their patients and community. No matter the location, every employee has a hand in contributing to the wellness of patients. You'll discover a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect at UVM Health.
As an Operating Room RN at The University of Vermont Medical Center, Vermont’s only Level I Trauma Center, you will circulate and scrub across a full range of surgical cases.
This is a highly collaborative, patient-centered perioperative environment where OR nurses work in true partnership with engaged surgeons, a strong intraoperative support team, and visible, available leadership (support readily accessible throughout the day).
We emphasize a team-based OR culture focused on patient-centered care, efficient communication, and shared accountability in the surgical environment.
We offer flexible scheduling (8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts), safe staffing with reliable break coverage, and reasonable call expectations, with opportunities for specialty alignment and continued professional growth in a high-acuity OR setting.
Prior Operating Room nursing experience required.
On-call: Required
Incentives: Candidates may be eligible for up to a $20K RN Sign-On Bonus for full-time (pro-rated for part time).
